Another day in Europe.
Today's mission is to go by taxi to pick up a rent a car to drive 2 hours to an American World War 2 cemetery to locate Barbara's children's grandfathers plot.
The Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial has over 10,000 american soldiers that gave their lives for their country.

We met with a women that served as our guide to take us right to the headstone.
She brought a bucket with sand from the beachs at Normandy to rub into the engraving and sweep it so we could read the Name and date. She also had 2 Flags. One French and the other United States.
Quite moving to see and how we were treated.
