Rainy Day, Maybe

For most of our trip it has been rain free. Except for a brief shower in Normandy, the weather has been perfect! 60's and 70's. Far from what we were told to expect Some mornings starting out, it was almost cold. Glove wearher while on the bike. Its always nice to not have to think about extra clothing. I have always thought that shorts, t-shirt, shoes and a wtistwatch should be all you should evet need and always look forward to those days in the dead of winter. It rained hard here most of the night. Huge bolts of lighting followed by thunder. Amazing sight over the Cathedral. Im sorry I didn't get a photograph to share here Our walk to breakfast across the street was rain free. Even s little blue sky peaking through. Something my brother once said that the people in Alaska called "Sucker Holes" A hope of weather finally breaking after 6 days of rain, only to be followed by a downpour! Todays forecast is 96% Chance of rain. Its Sunny again. I will bring a rain Jacket but not sure if it will be needed. An interesting note: The "Jacket" and the Jackknife" were both named after St. Jacque, of what this town is all about.
Another fun lunch at Casa Marcelo.
Oysters Again? YES!
What Fun!

Well it did finally rain. Cats and Dogs as Barbara said. We were glad that we were not out. However the weather did finally break around 9pm making it OK to head out to the Plaza to see "The Tuna". The Tuna is a group of men that gather every night at 10pm and play traditional music that it seems that all the spectators know the lyrics to. Loud and fun. Click on the lower link above to see them in action. The link above that is of the Cathedral earlier today.
