After two days off and one day off, we now start to climb. No head wall type hills, but long steady climbs.
Moue country side and views, the ride at first was still very busy but soon got into less touristy towns and safer non-stop riding.
We now are seeing more "Pilgrims" on their way to Santiago and the mark leading them along the way.
Sunny and warm, Our bike was shifting poorly because of the problems resulting from the broken derailleur, making the ride all the tougher. Skipping gears are never fun.
About 7 miles of cobble stone with hills, both up and down, made getting back to smooth, nice!
We were again the last to get in, but took our time. No reason to rush< we are on vacation!
Leaving Porto
We now are carrying new "Camino Passports" Collecting stamps along the way to show we have done the journey. This will be added to the many we have attained over the years and stored with that first certificate we got back in 2008.
