Arles and Les Baux

Starting thee day with another fantastic breakfast as soon as we were finished, the busses were waiting for today's morning excursion.
Today's morning destination is Arles. Very Roman but made famous by painter Van Gogh. Although he had only painted there for 2 years, it fun to see where he sat and what he painted while living there. The town doesn't own one of his paintings but have reproductions set as markers at the famous spots. Following the "Van Gogh Route" brings you to all the spots.
Our guided tour today was a mix of Roman ruins and local buildings.
Crusty and fun, this is a town I would love to re visit.

The hospital where Van Gogh spent time after his ear incident

After our walk, we went back to the boat for lunch and then off again for a walk through the rock topped village of Les Baux.
Not much to see, I spent the walk photographing with my "Instant" camera.
