Day Eight

Our first full day in Spain. Today we will be heading to a town named Padrone. Not famous for the much loved peppers, but the spot where the remains of St James, Santiago, were kept before the the final resting spot in Santiago de Compostelia.
The ride started out coastal and then worked its way into the hills. Beautilul farm country rolling and just the way we like it. More of the feel of the camino we have known to love from past trips.
We are both tired. I have been fighting off a cold and Barbara fighting not to get it. Sometimes hard to breath, runny nose, and all that fun stuff.
We are both looking forward to the end and to get off the bike. My butt is starting to feel the saddle and the bike still remains to shift poorly.
The trail however has been marked very well. Our guides do the very best to serve us both on the road and in the evenings keeping things fun!
