A Day Trip to La Napoule

Settled on the Cote d' Azur after yesterdays drive, we decided to do a day trip back to a town on the coast where Barbara studied landscape design years ago.
To the castle at La Napoule once owned by an American sculptor and his wife Henry and Marie Clews.
The newly wed couple after moving from the United States in the early 1920's spent the rest of their life's creating one of the most amazing homes on the planet. Loaded with Henry's sculpture. paintings and architecture design, every turn of the head is another magical surprise!
Entertaining people from around the world as well as town folk, The Clew's even set up stone bays on the water at the base of their home for local fishermen.
The place is amazing!

We got there before the inside the home tour with more then enough time to see the garden.

Henry Clews at his best! This place is a Must See!

Really? Yes!

The "Glick". Given to Marie as a wedding gift from Henry, Placed in front of their chateau/ home, to welcome guests.

Love Birds Sitting Together on the Glick's head.
