Rocamadour to Sarlet

Cool with a bit of fog. Damp air. Not enough to be a problem with a light jacket but still with shorts.

A tour bus stuck in the tunnel on the way out of town was no problem for the bicycles and the group. It did however stop the cars both directions.

First stop, A Farm specializing in Duck products. Mostly Foies Gras or Duck liver. A beautiful kept farm where they raise Ducks, Wine Grape and Walnuts. After a walk around we watched a great film about their company. Samples of their products, time to shop and then back on the road.

A little something for the Thanksgiving table!

Most who know France and hear the word "Rocomodorr" think of the little goat cheeses the make. Only about 2 1/2" inches, these little cheeses are the perfect size for a sandwich or any single serving. Loaded with flavor, not too strong, not too sharp. They are one of my favorite French Goat Cheese.

Of course when we saw a chance to see how it is made, we stopped.

On the road again to our next town for lunch.

Close to the finish on an amazing bike trail with huge rock cliffs.
