Starting the day in a bath tub big enough so as that when you stretch out, your toes don't touch the end. True.
Cahors is showing signs of Fall. Autumn colors showing in the trees and the ground bushes, nice day for a walk.
Barbara went to return the car 50 km away with plans to take the train back, giving me a chance to get out on my own for photos and a little shopping.
The town is also know for a very old bridge that seems as if at one time might had been the only gate to the center. Towers on all sides, it is also the Way of St James, or what is known as " les Chemins de St Jacque"
The first we crossed the bridge was at the start of our second leg of the Chemins. I insisted that to follow the road right, we would need to bring the tandem up the cliff and climb the stairs as do all the Pilgrims. No short cuts. Barbara being the good sport she is agreed.
The third time we came here, we were doing both legs on the same trip. Having climbed the cliff once before, we decided to follow the horse route and go around.
Climbing today, I have no idea how I made it without falling. I carried the tandem and Barbara, the bags.
Here are some photos of this mornings walk:

Dinner out and a lovely evening walk around town. Perfect weather for an evening stroll. Wish you were here!
