We are here in Athens and ready to start our trip. We will be meeting the group downstairs at 10am to get on a bus and travel three hours to the start. There we will meet our bikes and get them set for a test ride. Yhe bog ride starts tomorrow
The ride excluding the test loo is ten days.
We made ot to our hotel that is more like a compound with rooms with stairways leading to each door. Ours is at the highest point with the best view!
We are to go
below for a group safety talk and fit our bikes. Woops! I dont have a bike! As it turns out, the wrong bike was ordered and I ended up with a road Ebike that would not do.
The leader of the group said "No problem!" and went nack to get one.
There is really mo reason to complain because I'm sure everything will work out. I will just have to set up my bike in the morning.
Dinner was up a 1000' walk.It was at a beautiful out door table. Loaded eith local specialtys
Perfect! At 1900 feet up, we had an amazing view!
Long slow walk down in the dark lead by my flashlight,Its always nice to be preaired.
Back to our room, we are both looking forward to tomorrows
