Day 14 The Hits Keep on Coming!
I think we are getting use to this now. Bags down at 9:00, Arrows down by 9:30. That's how we start our day. Breakfast is always at the Hotel.
Today's ride had a warning. The Hill at the end would ne something that we are going to remember. If you have to walk, it would be OK.
Heading out of town was quite nice. Not too much traffic, but for the most part, up hill.
As my friend Bob always says, "When ever the ride starts, I shoot off the back!" There is a lot to see! I go by stuff, and think, I should have taken a photo of that!
Hoping I don't get hit turning around, I take the chance to get an interesting photo to share to this blog.
After a solo stop at a Cafe that was marked with chalk on the pavement, I went on.
Continuous climbing, I finally reached a spot marked "Lunch"."Scott!" Barb, who is now calling herself 'Turbo Barbie" was calling me to stop!
Ah! Lunch!
Ham and cheese Crepe and super sweet iced Coffee. What a nice break! Back on the road with the start of the big hill! Up, Up, Up!
